Home Support Worker – Retford area
Retford Area | £12.81 per hour | Flexible Hours
Do you enjoy helping people and making a difference in your local community?
Bassetlaw Action Centre is looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Home Support Workers to help older and vulnerable people remain independent in their own homes. This is a rewarding role providing practical support and companionship to people across the Retford area.
What you’ll do
Light household cleaning and tidying
Shopping and collecting prescriptions
Laundry and ironing
Light meal preparation
Sitting services and companionship
Assistance with correspondence and paperwork
Please note: this role does not involve personal care or administering medication.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for people who are kind, trustworthy, dependable and comfortable working independently. Previous experience is helpful but not essential.
What we offer
£12.81 per hour
